Dr Janroj Yilmaz Keles is a Senior Research Fellow in Politics at Middlesex University Law School and editor of the British Sociological Association’s Journal: Work, Employment and Society. Janroj’s research includes migration, ethnic minorities’ representation at work, peace and conflict, gender, social movements and political communication. Janroj has a track record of securing external research funding from EU Commision, IOM,OECD, AHRC, JRF and he is one of the co-investigators of GCRF Hub – Gender, Justice and Security. He has published widely in peer-reviewed journals including Political Geography, Work, Employment and Society, Antipode, Urban Studies, Journal for Ethnic and Migration Studies, The Sociological Review, Industrial Law Journal, Journal of Immigrant & Refugee Studies and Middle East Journal of Culture & Communication. His monograph Media, Conflict and Diaspora (I.B. Tauris, 2015), was well received by the academic community.
